But why is the top so jagged where the tree ends?

That would have made things a lot easier.
I try not to! Unless I got to keep my dream prints and sell them for dream gold, with which I could purchase dream organs on the black market....hmmmm....
You mean the part where the tree branchlets meet black space?
That's a bit of a fluke, isn't it... originally there was going to be a jagged black border around the whole thing, but as time progressed and the whole project became even more hands-on, that idea became a little bit abandoned....
