The First Assignment this year for Digital Drawing was a self portrait. I tend to have an evil, Ganondorf-esque grin in my photos... hence my inspiration.

Plan on, whenever I get time, making myself even more evil and repugnant-looking. As per Troy's suggestion. Sometimes professors are right.

No, I am evil! I fly in and attack Grecian banquets, damaging kings with my poison-tipped talons! Arrr rarrarrr!

Why thankee! :) I do like being on here... just don't like how many comments build up when I ignore it for too long... and then I feel guilty, and I avoid it, and I get too busy, and....grar.

Ah digital.... I spent this past summer working in it so much, and the I have that one class I'm taking... there will probably be a lot of it. Glad it doesn't come across as horrible or contrived!!
Might post my summer work here, too... if the company I did it for gives me permission. We will see.

Thankee for the warm reception! *hug* See your page is doing well! :) I need to spend some time browsing, when time I have!

Doing well? I haven't done any art in over a year (now THATS an art block) and when I did start drawing again, it was sad and random and horrible. I'm going to work on my animals, try to develop a style for myself. I'm still no good at digital. I'd like to learn a few more tricks. . .

I know what you mean about the comments. I cringe whenever I look at the amount that have piled up.

If you get to be a Harpy, I demand to be a Sphinx, so I can sit around and not let people into cities and ask the same irritating riddle over and over again! You think I'd be able to come up with SOME new material. . . but any excuse for eating humans is a good one, right?

I'd love to see more of your stuff. You've got the most distinct style I've ever seen.
