Artist's Comments

A sample PnP enamel I just finished.
The image was drawn by hand, then photocopied onto an acid resist and transferred to copper. Then the negative space was etched away, and I enameled the piece.
Enamels used: liquid opaque white, liquid hard flux, dry hard flux, dry opaque grey.

I am taking an enameling class and enjoying it immensely.
This is the Magnetic Crow's compass.

It doesn't even look like enamel! Mind boggling. Liver of sulfer can be nasty. . .

It did come out fairly watercolour-esque when scanned.

Well, it's stinky, (liver of sulfur) but at least it's not caustic, like the ferric and nitric acids. You can tell when you've gotten that stuff on yourself!
