Majority of the work was done traditionally, however, so via DeviantArt's obtuse categorization I'm labeling it that way.
Part of a ten-piece commission by GUD (Greatest Uncommon Denominator) Magazine.
They have put together a nifty quiz, via which you can determine which creepy, bizarre monster you are--all drawn from stories published in GUD. All of the answers link to the story represented (free internet reads! yay!) and also a brand-new illustration by me!

I don't see where the 'clockwork' comes in, He looks pretty organic to me...Perhaps he terrorizes clockwork sundries?
The strong vertical pull on this one, your eyes are drawn from the bottom left to the bright square on to the moon. The moon looks a bit evil and distorted from being in the corner, a lovely touch. The cross hatching on it is perfect.
My only complaint is that the demon looks way too gross, all wet and sticky! Haha. You've really pulled out all of the stops on these commissions! They're simplistic, but also captivating and well put together. I can almost see this fellow slithering around in the moonlight... right outside my window...
