I have come to the conclusion that I need to make more art.
I have also come to the conclusion that, despite my many hiatuses and my repeated struggle with the idea of leaving DeviantArt for good, I really value the interest and critique of other artists and art enthusiasts too much. Also, having unlimited free online portfolio space is pretty awesome, and should not be taken for granted. As much as I'm liking the Carbonmade interface...35 free images? That's it? Really?

I should scan more of my sketchbook.

I'm enjoying your gallery so much. There's an elegant, highly individual, invariably well-rendered otherworldliness here that takes me by the brain and says "Let's go yonder." I'm intrigued by this Institute of Sub-Ocular Thaumaturgy, too.

I also used to draw dragons everywhere, though probably not as well as you, and Kalessin stands immensely in the way of my ever writing about dragons.
